In early 2002, we believe that we were the first in Canada to openly associate the words "fashionable" and "stylish" with baby slings. Many of our customers have told us that we were trailblazers back then, and we've been innovating and changing the face of baby slings in Canada ever since. Others have been "inspired" to imitate various kissed baby features, such as our unique shoulder design, our hand-beaded panels, and our Mobile Pocket^TM. So although we admit that we don't make the cheapest slings out there, we do strive to make the best, and the original. Why settle for imitations, when you can get the original kissed baby sling.

kissed baby Ring Slings have the following features:

1. Our one-of-a-kind shoulder design, with a sturdy, triple-stitched attachment of the rings. Our shoulder is a flat design that moulds itself easily to shoulders of different widths, while allowing a good amount of adjustment width-wide. It is neither too narrow (ouch!) nor too wide (bulky).
2. Six basic positions, plus up to 7 other uses!
3. Carrying capability for newborns to toddlers (7 to 30 lbs.)
4. Completely unpadded comfort in the shoulder and rails
5. Simple adjustability with 2” or 2½” welded-steel* rings
6. A completely open tail, for use as a wipe, a panel for even more breastfeeding discretion, a cover against sun and wind, etc.
7. Differential-colour stitching on one rail, to help wearer visually separate the tail sides (and upper and lower rails) when adjusting the sling. (Some of our fabric or trim designs will already have differences in the rails.)
8. Packaging in an attractive, re-usable fabric drawstring bag with coordinating fabric. This added-value item gives you a little extra bag to store your sling, or a few diapers, toys, crayons, etc. when you’re out and about. (We were the first sling-maker to offer this freebie, and still insist on using absolutely no plastic or vinyl in any of our sling packaging.)
9. Availability in two sizes (custom size also available):

* Why do we use use welded-steel rings, and not plastic, nylon, or aluminum? Well, we don't use plastic because steel is stronger (some plastic rings have been known to break after a few years of use), and is just more aesthetically-pleasing. We don't use aluminum because the full surface tends to look scratched-up after a while. Our welded-steel rings have a load-bearing strength of over 400 lbs., and are simply the best choice for our slings.
