I just received one of your slings yesterday and I LOVE it!!! I took it with me and my l'il J. slept in it, nursed in it, and was snug as a bug. Thank you!!! It is beautiful and very well made. Our company is now officially "kissed"!
The change-over from cxd baby to kissed baby has been a long time in coming, but definitely needed. It's still the same great company, offering the same great slings and other baby products since 2002, and maintains the same owner. It's just that the name's a little easier to remember.
Why did we do it? For years, although we personally loved our slogan, our customers didn't necessarily get it. It wasn't easy to remember, we had to literally spell it out dozens of times, and quite often, people would get mixed up and think of "cdx baby". So our slogan gradually took over as the official name. Now, we hope that makes it easier for our customers to give out a name whenever someone stops them on the street to ask about that great-looking sling they're wearing.
Instructional DVD now included with all slings!
Another thing that was a long time in coming, this instructional DVD will now be included with all slings, as of June 2008. If you bought a sling since June 1st, and didn't receive a DVD, please contact us to receive one. If you bought a sling previous to June 1st (or even if you have another brand of sling), you can still purchase our how-to DVD in our on-line for $10, starting at the end of June.
Price increases to Basic and Fashion Maven
We will be introducing a couple of price changes at the end of this month. This is our first price increase since 2004, and helps cover such things as the inclusion of the instructional DVD, as well as general increases in operational costs over the years.
1- The Basic collection will see a $5 increase.
Ring Slings and Pouch Slings will be $60 CAD, and Mei Tais will be $70 CAD.
2- The Fashion Maven collection will see a $5 increase.
Ring Slings and Pouch Slings will be $125 CAD, and Mei Tais will be $150 CAD.
All other collections will see their pricing unchanged.
